Rauðavatn er eftirsótt útivistarsvæði, en það vantar aðgengilega bekki með reglulegu millibili svo fleiri geti notið svæðisins. Með litlum tilkostnaði má bæta stíg að sunnaverðu vatninu þar sem tilvalið er að koma fyrir áningu með bekkjum, borði og leiktækjum, þar sem fólk spjallar og nýtur fuglalífs og útsýnisins.
