Aðkoman að Reynisvatni er mjög ljót þegar komið er að því upp afleggjarann. Þarf að laga stæðin og bæta umhverfið þar í kring þmt. taka gamlar girðingar, laga stíga frá bílastæðum, laga veginn sjálfann, loka eða laga veginn sem liggur þar upp með og laga bílastæðin. Mætti mögulega taka bílastæðið sem er við veginn - mjög druslulegt. Mætti gróðursetja fleiri tré og setja bekki eða eitthvað slíkt við stæðin.
